- Message from the director, Yuki Matsuda -

I’m looking to hire an intern/ apprentice who is very passionate about Life Style Fashion and would like to have their own brand/business in 3-5 years. 

 They would be working directly with me and my team with all brands - Yuketen, Monitaly, Chamula, Epperson Mountaineers, etc. - and my goal for them is to learn the knowledge I have learned over the years and for them to start their own unique brand one day. 

 When I was 16 in Japan I worked at a clothing store that sold American made products, where I first touched American Jeans (Levi’s 501). All jeans before in Japan that I had seen had zippers, whereas these jeans had button flys - which was shocking to me! From 18-21, I worked in a warehouse for three years inspecting clothing and shoes. I realized my experiences working hands-on with all kinds of products made me develop an eye - by touching and feeling every product, I learned so much, which is why I still feel, check, and inspect to make sure customers receive excellent quality goods from us.

At Meg Company you will learn: 

• Touch the shoe and boots, and you will learn why we use this leather.

• Check the garment inside and outside, and you will learn why we make our way of construction.

• Touch the fabric and you will learn all kinds of unique fabrics

• Check handknit sweater and you will know why we use handspun Merino wool.

• Check our Bag and you will learn where is stress point and why we use different material than any other company.

We are looking for a go-getter attitude who loves to learn the ins and outs of the apparel and fashion business. You will know much more if you are ready to learn more.

You can’t buy experience.
